I don't have much for photos, so I put up some bull riding pics of myself, although I don't compete anymore.
I will describe myself as average looking and in fairly good shape. 5' 8", 165 lb, blue eyes, full head of medium-short, wavy, brown hair and people usually think that I look younger than my age. :-)
I don't have any children and have never been married, but I'm not opposed to either. Have to find the right lady first.
I'm agnostic/freethinker, but don't mind if my partner or friends are religious, as long as they don't try pushing their beliefs on me.
I have a tendency to be direct and blunt, and I appreciate an honest, straight-forward woman. I can be sarcastic, dry, facetious, and I may seem somewhat gruff at times, so you might have be around me long enough to find the softness and sweetness in me.
I like affection and cuddling, but not into clingy and needy. Missing someone is different and that can be a good thing. I enjoy doing nice things for the that special someone, but wanting to be totally spoiled is a real turn-off. I appreciate the simpler things in life, not the high maintenance things. I'm a clean man... disease-free, never used drugs or smoked and I don't drink very much or often.
I try to be polite and considerate of others feelings and will often reserve comment, so as not to offend. I am well behaved in public and don't like being the centre of attention, but I am not a shrinking violet or yes-man, either. I get along with most people and can handle big functions, but I also like my alone time. I'm low key, laid-back, and don't like drama.
I'm hoping this will lead to something serious, but I believe in starting things more casually and seeing where it goes and how it grows. Sometimes, when I meet someone for the first or second time, I can get a strong feeling for them, but it usually takes quite a bit more time than that. If all we become is friends, there is nothing wrong with that.
Looking for an easy-going, kind, caring lady whom doesn't do drugs or smoke anything. Hopefully, you treat others (not just me) as you would like to be treated and having a good sense of humour is always good! It would also be great if you can write complete sentences with Capitals and periods, as it makes for much easier and more enjoyable reading, with less guessing as to what you are actually saying.
Selfish, rude, snobby, shallow, greedy, angry, conceited, controlling, jealous, possessive, hypocritical, dishonest, or narcissistic women should just stay away. I only mention this negative aspect, because this Dating Site seems to be teeming with these types.
I'm not looking for an on-line friend and I should point out that I don't use IM on this site or any other, so no msn chat for me.
Let's talk on the phone sooner than later so we can find out if we can mutually converse and see if there is an attraction through verbal communication.
