I like going out to eat cultural foods or a good steak, conversing, asking cogent questions to keep it going so I can watch the passion in the eyes, listen to the inflection of the voice, the play of hands dancing to explore possibilities. I explore the spiritual (but not religious) side of living. I believe that faith and religion are two different things and that if it's a process that excludes rather than includes it's not for me. I enjoy reading a variety of things but don't choose technical manuals for fun. I like forensic science, the possibilities of stem cell research and cloned organs for end stage diseases, fiction, mysteries, and yes, a little romance doesn't hurt. I adore a well crafted phrase or descriptive bit that paints images in my head. I like poetry, a wide variety of music and dance. Things which transport you are nearer a prayer of thanks and a celebration of being alive. I'm a theist, not a monotheist, polytheist, blah blah blah. I won't impose my beliefs on anyone if they don't try to push theirs on me or others. All religions offer some truth and may hold a piece of the massive mystery. Celebrate and embrace the differences.

I like creating art. I have so many ideas that I've yet to get to. I tell my students I want to be a children's book illustrator when I grow up. I've started, but I guess I'm not really grown up yet. I still want play time.

I love to dance, slow and fast..."Dance like nobody is watching". I enjoy varied music, reading, movies, and the computer for fun. I have 2 adult children (1 at home attending college) and four unofficially adopted children and their families. They're Chinese and have enriched my world view.

My photos are all within the last year, but I don't have a lot. I'm usually the one behind the camera, not in front of it. I really am 54, I'm a former natural blonde, now with a medium brown hair with white highlights. I earned every "highlight" and appreciate the experiences that have brought me here. The weight fluctuates with the season. Not obese, but not model thin either.

I really enjoy laughing and look for chances to do it. I have a mug that says "Laugh out loud".

I like to travel, go to art fairs, galleries and museums. A partner to share those things would be great.

Auctions, flea markets, art fairs, festivals, street dances and so on are great fun. The people watching is so interesting.
