i have found my way here looking for balance...
(am taking time to work thru that stuff that i always stuffed)
i am in love with words...humor...music...nature...gentle spiritedness....passionate spiritedness (just not mean spiritedness)...and now it seems i am on a spiritual quest...
i enjoy people with depth...people who have opinions (often not the same as mine) and are willing to share...i love to learn new things...or look at old things with new perspective...
my family brings me great joy...to see my children grow into beautiful, happy adults i think, geeze their dad and i must have done something right!... and i am blessed with my grandchildren...my granddaughter is sunshine personified and my grandson pure sweetness...
i enjoy the poetry threads ...if you are looking for a place to share your words, i encourage you to stop on by..
i am a walker...and practice yoga and tai chi...i am a slow learner but love the stretch and fluidity...

 | In the movie "as good as it gets", holly hunt is pressuring jack N. about how he feels and jack says "you make me want to be a better man." that is what Rose is, that is what Rose does. at least for me. a fellow poet who, by her sheer existence, gets me to see the brighter side of life on a daily basis, bringing beauty and hope to any distance. and dont we all need that? If i get nothing from POF except meeting rose, it was time well spent. |
 | This may sound like a bit of a repeat of a message that i just sent you, but i "found' the right words on accident, lol.Many a time when i stop through it's for what little bit of "me" time that i have between jobs..when i go and read your words, you often help me to get back to the "center" or forgive myself, and/or a thousand other things (depending on what day it is, and what write you have left.) There have been many moments that you have touched me and not even known it, rose. You are a wonderful shining light of honesty, sincerity, and friendship. She has a deep spirit with a hearty soul. She has a very bubbly way about her at times. Her caring heart is reflected in her writes, especially those about her granny! A wonderful woman in every way!  | Rose is now reaching that point in life where it is common for old women to have delusions and ramble. Her shrink says she's been on POF for far far too long and needs some real good extra special therapy. Please please someone give Rose the therapy she so badly needs and deserves. |
