I am relaxed, practical, down to Earth, supportive and always learning. I figured out long ago that "it" was not all about me. I read alot on a broad range of topics. I am a blue jeans, T-shirts and tennis shoes sort of guy. I do own a tux and wear business casual for work. My car gets over 35 mpg. I like to look at the stars at night and take a slice of lemon in my wheat beer. I have a great job in the aerospace industry and do not have to travel too much. My dog (chow mix) gives me a BIG thumbs up also! I guess I should give him another cookie for that. We go for walks on the beach and he is into smelling seaweed. I love weekend trips down the central coast.

I am really interested in photography (digital and B&W) and audio/video/editing. I took a beginner portrait lighting class in September and have been learning about lighting. Will pick up the advanced class soon. Volunteered as an audio engineer at a local community access TV station. That was FUN!!! Got to tape locals bands performing. One of these days I will make a documentary.

My favorite band is YES and have seen them many times over the years. Grew up listening to progressive rock (Rick Wakeman, ELP, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Nektar, etc....). Lately more Jazz and some classical. I have been an artist all my life and enjoy drawing. Taken classes in airbrush, silk screening, matting/framing, and making fountains. I'd like to learn how to make mosaics and work in tile.

I would like to find a women who is bright, independent and confident. Someone who defines herself from within. Enjoys communicating, cuddling and has an appreciation for art, museums, movies, books, walks on the beach, looking at the stars and being lazy on a quiet Sunday morning. We should both be very supportive of the other, be the best of friends and realize we are far stronger together than apart.

I have many hobbies and lately have been reading about renewable energy. Maybe I will design a windmill. I have a nice (and dry) sense of humor. After all, what is the airspeed of an unladen African swallow?
