Hi i'm a normal single dad pretty much happy with his lot in life .... looking to make friends and date , hopefully leading to a long term relationship, the whole nine yards.

I've been on here a while and know this site is a bit top heavy with people who are not what they seem to be in their profiles. I've had a couple of dates though there was no chemistry which helps.
I am bringing up my two children alone and work part time hours, i have a good sense of humour and the ability to laugh at myself, i really enjoy keeping fit and love cycling,swimming and jogging, i much prefer a cosy pub with a fire to the noise of a club.
I'm looking to meet someone as friends , to date , lunch , cinema,nights out , which will lead to long term basically i'm looking to settle down and be happy and make someone happy, to do the life thing !

I think a first date should be low key.... coffee and chat ... see how we feel. If not comfortable then be open and say nice meeting you, wish you all the best.

If the first date went well then a second would be something a little more intimate ..say a cosy pub or a restaurant.
