Fun loving, free from encumbrances, was retired and now have entered a new phase of my life. After spending nearly 30 years in the public service I was so ready to enjoy life and do things at a more leisurely pace. After taking the summer off and really feeling "retired", I realized I was not ready for the proverbial rocking chair. I am now employed working in ground operations with the number one domestic airline, and I am loving it. Finding out that it's great to work because you want to and not because you have to has been an enlightening experience. I am finally realizing what Maslow meant by self actualization.. Life isn't all about how much money you can make. I have relocated to Boston to work at LOGAN AIRPORT, but will still be commuting to Columbus on occasion. (because I can). I am tenacious, and willing to go after what I want. I can walk and chew gum concurrently too!! I enjoy cooking, painting, riding my motorcycle, travel to far away and nearby destinations, family outings, lazy days at the lake, walking on the beach or reading at the pool, outdoor activity, flying, baking, going to festivals and fairs, spending time at home, watching a good romantic comedy or who-dunnit movie,attempting to play the piano, and walking the dog. I also volunteer and perform community service, and always make time to read. Cooking for others gives me so much pleasure and I love to have dinner guests. Music has to be playing all the time even if its a song that is playing in my head. I prefer classic rock, classic soul, r and b, jazz. Songs that are easy to dance to are fun. I have values, integrity and
believe in respecting and validating others. There is a strong spiritual side to me, but have to admit to not attending church regularly. I am fun loving and love to try new adventures. Can you keep up with me? :

First meeting should be relaxed, maybe coffee, or lunch, drinks or dinner. Window shopping, or a walk while talking would be great. The setting should be at a place and time to get to know each other with minimal distraction. I always think that within a very short time of first meeting, both of us would have a pretty good idea how long we want the date to last, and whether or not a second date will be put on the calendar. An informal, relaxed setting that encourages and fosters good conversation is best.
