Well !! There are certainly a lot of attractive, accomplished, and interesting ladies on here - and I am looking for only one (really). I am a sincere and innately good person and I may be a, to torture the fishing theme, keeper. Now, please read on... :-)

About me: I'm genuine , honest , stable and single ( just to clarify !!). Not quite mensa material but not a slack-jawed knuckle-dragger either. Not particularly good-looking ( sorry to those seeking George Clooney lookalikes ) but passersby don't turn to stone or run away screaming.

I love the north and would love to spend more time there. Summer fun for me includes canoes/kayaks/lakes/beaches. I like to ski but am also developing an increased appreciation for the winter southern getaway - heretofore limited to "Girls Gone Wild Do Daytona" video and an electric blanket....... no, not really :-)

I'm a proud father of a son (18 and out at college) and two daughters (17 and 13, living with their mom) - great kids that will not scare you away !!

But seriously: relationships progress through phases - so whether it's dating, romance, friendship .... I won't put pressure on myself or on you to conform to some preconceived notion. I WILL treat you with dignity and respect, in good faith. My baggage is long ago burned and buried, in fact I recently realized that I have been divorced longer than I was married - there was no cake for that though OK that bit about the cake wasn't serious but the rest was :-)

About you: I've found I'm most attracted to women who are petite to average build, cognizant of the world beyond their manicure, and of generally happy disposition. That leaves a lot of latitude so don't be shy. Semi-important: I would most like to meet someone who is fairly local to Guelph / Wellington / Hamilton-Wentworth / Burlington / Oakville / K-W / Cambridge area.
