Life is a journey. We have heard the truths and the untruths about this epic voyage. Many times without an itinerary, we enter into unknown adventures. These escapades have taken us to places that have changed us forever, sometimes for the better and unfortunately sometimes for the worse. The highway we have journeyed is full of bumps, sharp curves, and sometimes can be a dead end. Other times this highway is flat, straight and leads us to places we can thoroughly enjoy. This thoroughfare leads us to insight and clarification. With this comprehension we can continue our journey with better insight and thus make wiser choices as we continue on this journey of life.'Life isn't about how to survive the storm,but how to dance in the rain.'


I have always been a person that receives the admiration of most people I encounter but I have also been more naive than I have been prudent and more credulous than I have been reasonable. I do know where I want the remainder of my journey to take me. Honesty, integrity and kindness are very important to me. What you see is what you get. I love games but not mind games.

A sense of humour is a definite bonus because I believe laughter can remedy, almost, anything.

I live alone in a home I thoroughly enjoy. I enjoy the pleasure of my morning coffee on the deck with the morning paper and golden sunshine. Later in the day, a well plan dinner is enjoyed in the shade of the late afternoon. In between those two activities there is always the yard work to complete. And then there might be a 20 to 30 kilometre ride on the bicycle. There’s nothing better than the short ride to Port Stanley.

There are four wonderful daughters in my life that have given me six even better grandchildren. They are all local and an important part of my life. The dance card is already filled every Friday night as my oldest granddaughter visits while he mommy is hard at work.

Did I tell you there is nothing more exciting than visiting an amusement park? The old wood rollercoasters are not so kind to this gently aging body, however the new magnificent streamlined modular units are absolutely spectacular.

I am looking for a friendly,fun loving, sociable and mature woman who is independent, and confident.

If I could dream, it would be on the beach at my favorite Cuban resort. My second choice would be to spend some time at a park with a nice veggie tray, cheese and crackers, shrimp and smoked oysters and maybe a disguised cooler.We could then talk for hours, undisturbed, getting to know one another or just talking about our own life experiences. If all goes well, a walk under the moon and stars.....And if none of that works, there's still a variety of coffee venues.
