I consider myself a positive, upbeat, optimist and romantic. I believe in true love and a soul mate, although I certainly think of love as a "verb" - something that needs effort, patience, diligence and faith - and something that can be an amazing journey. I believe in "happily ever after" and am still hoping for the butterflies when I meet that special person. I'm a happy person, devoted to my family, and am active, youthful, and spontaneous. I'd like to find someone with similar interests, who would just as much enjoy a good, home-cooked meal as a great night out on the town. I simply like life - and making every moment of it memorable.

An ideal first date would be something that would make talking easy, be fun, and not too much pressure (perhaps a tall order!). It really depends on the person, but maybe meeting for coffee, a drink, or even dinner would be nice. I'd prefer somewhere low-key, relaxing, with interesting surroundings, and hopefully, great conversation.
