Well... I've been told I should make my best effort to sweep you off your feet with my wit and charm right here or else I'll look dull and boring... and to avoid the comments that make me appear angry... like saying I won't put up with yelling or drama... but that just isn't me :D
Not to say I can't be witty or charming, I can... you just have to deserve it lol
Its my personal opinion that looks are the first make or break for everyone when dating someone, its true... so if I ask you out on a date its because I think you're beautiful/sexy/hot, if you say yes its because you think I'm handsome/sexy/hot... if you don't think so then dont date me! It doesn't matter how good looking someone is to you if they give a bad first impression then there's no chance you'll ever date them. Soooo... If I seem boring, stupid or lack charm, maybe its not me. Maybe I'm just not that into you :)
Can you be fun, playful and adventurous but know there are times to be serious in life? Do you panic when your toast gets burnt by the toaster? Will you get on a pair of skiis or waterski? Can you run more then 50feet without collapsing and need an abulance? Go camping or hiking? Can you discuss politics or religion and respect my opinions when they are completely opposite of yours? Would you hear my side and tell me your side of an issue listen to each other and just agree to disagree if thats what happens and not hold in some feeling of anymousity? Will you still hug me, kiss me and laugh with me even when we tell each other we're wrong about something? Do you believe in just letting some things go? Do you agree there's no such thing as a "little lie"? Are you intersted in the rest of the world, nature, science, politics, people? Are you a mature woman who grew up but doesn't plan on ever growing old? Do you believe its about "Us" and others are secondary (excluding children they always come first)? Do you expect to be best friends above all others? Are you trusting and trustable, faithful, believe in pure honesty? If you intend to be serious, then be serious... trusting and being trusted is what makes a great relationship. Yes? No?
Ok a little about me... (taking a deep breath) I like both cats and dogs, always have a cat, haven't had a dog in 15 years but if I buy anther house I'll consider a pure breed Shepard. I don't mind yardwork and will always make wherever I live look nice including planting flowers. I can cook and on rare occasions burn.
I do not expect a woman to clean my clothes nor cook my dinner although I appreciate it and do the same in return. The few old fashioned values I believe in are Integrity and Fidelity (fair warning, if you lie to me or cheat on me it will be over, period. I believe in equality, people are people no matter what race, religion or sex they are. I respect others for their opinions and I have no problems with stating mine.
I'm a matter-of-fact kind of person, I'm very mellow/laid back, I don't panic, I don't get "angry" over silly things.
As for children, I've raised a son... he's almost 22 and I think his mother and I did a fantastic job as parents. I'm not sure about having more but I do know I want to be happily married if I do.
I love active hobbies, be it snowboarding or wakeboarding, scuba diving, mountainbiking but I like being lazy too... like laying on a beach all day, fishing with a couple of beers and some good music on a warm afternoon or just strolling on the beach at night listening to the ocean or laying in the grass staring up at the stars for a couple hours.
I'm tired of the snow (yes I love it to snowboard on) but I want to move south where its warm all year. So if you have no intentions of leaving New England for the rest of your life then maybe I'm not for you.
Now if you're still reading then you must have got past my cute looks and my blunt to the point personality... I can be funny even hillarious at times, but thats mostly sarcastic comments at opportune moments... like if you lose your car keys from the door to the livingroom... you can bet I'm gonna make fun of you
