These description boxes seem too large and too small at the same time. Here we go:

I play guitar and bass and like to sing (especially in the car). All kinds of music interest me except new country and bad techno. I'm just starting to explore jazz (I have a lot to learn) and I believe that Elvis is still the King. In the ipod at the moment are the Stones, Pack AD, Black Mountain, Chet Baker, Gustav Mahler, Old Crow Medicine Show, plus various and sundry others.
I love reading and learning new things (deep down I am an unrepentant history nerd). People with an insatiable curiosity to check out new cultures, books, thoughts, and ideas are very attractive. I love film: everything from Citizen Kane and the Godfather to bad 70's kung-fu flix. Pubs win out over clubs... why stand in line for hours when good conversation and excellent drinks are around the corner?

The company I work for is progressive and gives me the opportunity to be creative and to push the limits of what I thought was possible. While I love my job I am not a slave to the office. Work/life balance is an important part of achieving career goals.

I'm looking for a woman with intelligence, wit, and a killer sense of humour. She will be confident in herself and comfortable in her own skin. She can be classy and graceful but loves to be silly. She speaks her mind and has something to say. She is passionate and makes my heart race when she walks in the room.

Under no circumstances will she own a dog smaller than a cat.
