About Me
The statement in the header is an ideal I’d like to attain. I believe that I, and all of us, have what we need, within ourselves. However, everyone from six to sixty can use a playmate and I mean play in all senses of the word. When we’re children we communicate but we call it ‘play’. When we’re adults we still play but we call it conversation, witty banter, discussion, bonding, and all kinds of other terms that put a mask on what is basically still ‘play’.
So now I’m 54 and I’m tired of playing games and trying to impress anyone. If you looked at my profile before you saw the attempts of someone trying to impress by covering EVERYTHING in a paragraph. I work at the public library downtown and I’m working on my Master’s Degree in Library Science. I am an occasional writer and I’m an entertainment junkie so I love books, movies, music and I love talking about all of it. I like to take walks in the park or in the woods or in the neighborhood. I’m open to everything from casual friends to soul mate companion. I try to be receptive to any and all possibilities so I’m not going to start putting up parameters about what I want and don’t want.
So I am open to getting to know anyone who thinks they might like to know me and share whatever we care to share of each other. The only commitment I’m making is to the moment and to making the most of it. So let’s play!!
First Date
Meet for coffee or tea in a restaurant/coffee shop and just talk and get to know each other. By the end of the 'date' we'll know if we want to meet again.
