I am a fairly simple guy. I am nice guy with a good scene of humor. I am shy when I first meet someone, but I warm up pretty quickly. I am generally happy with myself and my life. I am just looking for that missing piece of the puzzle. Is that you?

Yes I realize that last line was a bit cheesy, but I am on match.com right? I am not good at the “pick up” as you can tell by the last line in the last paragraph, but I try. I put all of myself in anything I do. I don’t give easily and I usually succeed. Formulating pick up lines is another story.

I am fairly intelligent, and although I am not looking for someone who can calculate Pi to the fiftieth place I do expect her to be able to break down m theory for me. That is a joke. I want a woman who can hold an intelligent conversation.

I respect other people’s ideas even if they are not like mine. I believe all relationships start with mutual respect then communications. I want someone that I can talk to about my feelings and to be able to listen to theirs. Respect and communications should be the key parts to any relationship.

I am not a big one for fads. You will never see me wearing an $80 tee-shirt. Why the hell anyone would spend $80 on a tee-shirt to look cool is beyond me. I am real, and don’t feel I have to have status symbols to prove my worth. Plus most of those $80 tee-shirts look really dorky.

I play video games. Yes I said it. I am a grown man that enjoys video games. I don’t play them every second of the day, but I do play them. I believe every person secretly likes video games. If you disagree with me you are wrong. Umm…yeah the respect thing…umm…ok I digress.

I hold season tickets to the Washington Capitals which probably makes me a hockey fan. My date would like going to hockey games. If you never have been and don’t like hockey go to one hockey game with me and you will be rocking the red all year long.
Family is a big part of my life. I am really close to my sisters and mom. Being the youngest and the only boy has taught me a lot. How to run being the main thing I learned. They also taught me how a woman should be treated, and the hell that breaks loose when a woman isn’t treated right. So to avoid that hell and treat women right.

On the first date I would like to go some where to talk. A local coffee house or restraunt. I believe in talking on the first date to see if there is a spark there. I don't think you can do that at a crowded bar or at the movies. Communication is one of the most important thing in a relationship so why not start out right.
