You can't deny this one..... "Seems like every time I hit a bump in the road....the unwanted baggage is the only thing that falls out of my wagon!!!"

I am a divorced father of two beautiful daughters. One old enough to be considered an adult in her own right, and the other still oblivious to the roller coaster we call life. I have been single and on my own now for nearly 4 years and live a fairly decent life. My daughters are a big part of my life and always will be. I still teach them life's lesson, especially from experience and by example. It's worked so far!

I found out from an early age that the things you earn are more precious than anything given to you. I live a fairly simple existence, I do things when they need to be done, not putting off until tomorrow what I could accomplish today. I am hard working and love to work on something until it is complete. Always looking for new projects to tackle.

Who am I looking for? Someone who stands beside me, not in front or behind me. Someone with a positive outlook. Look at life's bumpy road as a learning adventure and making the best of it. We would compliment each others lives, share common goals, and never ever take each other for granted. I was never into the bar scene. Prefer quieter times and definitely less crowded places. I love the outdoors, especially country settings. I do live in the city, but only because I am close to my youngest daughter and I work here. Someday I hope to move back out into the country. But for now I have tried to bring the country to the city. I built a water garden feature in my back yard. The effect is has on you is truly amazing. The sights and sounds of something you don't normally find in the hustle and bustle of city life are quite relaxing.

One of my favorite sayings - "A broken heart can't be mended if you're not willing to give someone all the pieces"


Here are my will and will nots and pretty much who I am...

I will.... Get rid of those pesky spiders and other bugs in the house
I will not kill them....catch and release back outside when feasible

I will.....call and say I will be late
I will not....Lie as to why

I will..... try to remember to open the door for you
I will not ..... slam the door on your hand or foot

I will .... clean up any messes I make
I will not... blame them on the dog (don't have one at the moment anyway)

I will... try to remember to tell you how beautiful you are to me
I will not.... answer the trick question "do these pants make my butt look big"

I will... replace the toilet paper when the roll is empty
I will not... forget to put the seat back down, I even close the lid - EVERY TIME

I will.... remember to put the milk back in the fridge
I will not... drink from the carton

I will... help with the household chores
I will not.... make up excuses to get out of them

I will.... cry with you while watching a sad movie
I will not.... hog all the tissues

I will.... walk beside you all the time
I will not.... walk in front of or behind you (unless there's a turnstile)

I will.... say I'm sorry if I say something stupid
I will not.... say anything to hurt you intentionally

I will.... be your best friend
I will not.... talk bad about you behind your back

I will.... keep you warm on a cold winters night
I will not.... hog the covers

I will.... hold you when you need a hug
I will not.... ignore you when I have had a bad day

I will.... be glad to see you every morning
I will not.... allow us to go to sleep mad at each other

I will.... make you my one and only
I will not.... choose anyone else over you

I will.... make the bed when I am the last one out of it
I will not.... leave dirty clothes on the floor

I will.... tell you whats on my mind
I will not.... say what I think you want to hear, but rather the truth

I will....laugh at all your jokes - well almost all anyway
I will not....make a fool of myself in public and embarrass you

I hope I have given you an insight to the person I am. I am as true to myself as I would be to you. I don't believe in playing b/s games. Being honest to yourself is just as important as being honest to others.
