I work in healthcare and have been at the same place for 20 years. I love what I do but am reminded daily that there is so much more to life than work.
I own an older home in a great neighborhood within walking distance to ND though I have never been to a football game or tailgating. What is up with that??? Tired of being a 'third wheel' and would feel like a total loser going alone! Need someone to introduce me to the game day tradition I have heard so much about.
Music is probably on the top of my list of first loves. Travelling to catch a live show has always been a favorite pastime. Drawn to DMB, Bruce, U2, as well as the Eagles, Steely Dan just to name a very few.
Divorced for nearly 6 yrs. Love children though I have none and think I am too set in my ways to make any at this point. I will just be perfectly content with the practicing part! lol.
I golf but strictly for fun and to be enjoying the great outdoors with a few close friends and some liquid encouragement. Tends to help my game a lot!
What am I looking for? Hopefully he takes care of himself and is not afraid of doctors. A non-smoker would be terrific but you 'can't always get what you want...' A sense of humor is a MUST- dry or otherwise. Life is just too short to be without one. I think Carlos Mencia says it best: "If you ain't laughin', you ain't livin'" He values the importance of work but does not make it the absolute first and foremost priority above all else. Been there and done that. He should appreciate having his own space as well as me having mine. He makes me laugh. He likes nice things and is not afraid (or too cheap) to have them. He has some great friendships-folks he can truly count on no matter what and he will reciprocate without question. He does not choose the easy way over the best way. He is not afraid of a little hard work. He likes to get out and do things. He loves animals-particularly dogs. He takes care of things he works hard for: himself, family, home, car, friends, dog, etc. He makes people want to be around him.
