Sometimes, a person comes into your life who makes you laugh, and cry, and smile and frown and just “feel”. It’s like a jolt of electricity. A strike of lightening straight to your soul. It’s felt by both, and you know, without any hesitation, that this is it. This is the one. It’s a once in a lifetime event.


I want Monday through Friday of sharing a bathroom, you with a towel wrapped around your waist shaving, me in one of your T-shirts applying make-up and drying my hair. rushing out the door after hurried cups of coffee or a glass of OJ. Calls in the middle of the day just to say hi, I'm thinkin of you, or let's grab lunch. I want evenings of preparing dinner with you while we talk about our day and you really listening. I want Saturdays of running errands, mowing the lawn, cleanin' out the garage, givin' the dog a bath. I want Sunday mornings of sleepin' in, makin breakfast together, lingering over coffee, the Sunday funnies or crossword. I want Sunday afternoons of picnics by the lake, a drive with no particular destination, a walk around the neighborhood or park, or a bowl of popcorn, a rented movie or a football game. I want days of too much to do and not enough time and nights of passion, sometimes sweet and loving, sometimes a little naughty. Nights of hearing the sound of you breathing next to me with your arm draped around my waist..... I want to be in love........I want hugs from behind, kisses on my neck, secret jokes, code words, slow dancin in the kitchen, stolen moments..... whispering sweet nothings, strong hands in the small of my back…Holding hands, feeling his hand caress my face when we kiss, looking up and find he is watching me, seeing his smile and the love in his eyes.....

This is what I wait for...

I'd love to find a man who isn't afraid to let his feelings show. He needs to how important the little things are in a relationship, and he needs to know WHAT those little things are. Someone who likes walks in the rain or just stomping in mud puddles. An early afternoon cup of coffee in a shop with atmosphere where we could talk and laugh. If things go well, possibly a walk, looking in shop windows, holding hands, just enjoying the afternoon.
