I enjoy the outdoors, cycling, walks, canoeing, visiting new and exotic destinations or just snuggling with that special person with a good movie. Would like to meet a beautiful lady with similar interests to share time together and get to know each other.

I read somewhere that "There is no such thing as a soul mate". But "Rather, it's the journey of building a great relationship over time that leads to a 'soul mate'-type closeness".

I love movies (The Bourne Identity, Tin Cup, Sideways), travel; near & far (Collingwood, Caribbean, Greece, Quebec City, Vancouver) and all different types of music (Earth, Wind & Fire, The Eagles, Motown, Andrea Bocelli, James Taylor, Yo-Yo Ma).

Just finished an excellent book called "Me to We" by Craig & Marc Kielburger. Very insightful and mind-opening. Everyone should read it and put some of these great ideas into practice.

I am looking for my best friend, someone who enjoys the same types of things as I do. She knows what she wants and is not afraid to take risks to achieve it.

No smokers please....,includes "occasional" or "trying to quit".

Laughing for absolutely no reason at all
Having someone tell you that you’re beautiful
Laughing at an inside joke
Friends
Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you
Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep
Making friends and spending time with old ones
Playing with a new puppy or kitten
Sweet dreams
Hot chocolate
Road trips with friends
Swinging on swings
Having friends send you homemade cookies
Running into an old friend and realizing that some things (good or bad) never change
Watching the expression on someone’s face as they open a much desired present from you
Watching the sunrise
Getting out of bed every morning and being grateful for another beautiful day
Getting a hug from someone you care about
Knowing you’ve done the right thing, no matter what other people think
