Well I have done some major thinking as to how to describe myself.. and well here I go..

I have many intrests. Alot i like to do, but due to my busy schedual, I'm left with little time to do them. Some of those interests consist of anything outdoors- Camping, Fishing, Hunting... On my weekends I like to meet freinds at a pub, small bar, patio party, or relax at home. I try to keep active, I go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week and I have 2 children, who mean the world to me and keep me very busy. I try and go out with them to the park, or just a walk, and to the gym with me as much as possible.

I'm a decently independent person..I'm comfortable being singled out for praise and rewards, and my personal identity and independence is important to me. Therefore it seems I need a reasonable level of independence. This does not mean that I do not desire to be close with others. Indeed, when I feel close to someone, this person often becomes an important part of who I am on the inside. However I dont need to be constantly "joined at the hip".

I like to have emotional closeness and security with that someone special. I feel uncomfortable if there are secrets kept from my partner or anyone for that matter. I see my partner as my bestfreind and formost confidant. I'm an open book, there is no hesitation discussing problems or concerns with anyone. But I also have realistic expectations when it comes to relationships.

I'm assertive and expressive (most of the time) and strive to maintain a positive attitude. I'm a glass is half full rather that half empty sort of girl. Also, I find that having plans and structured goals help to motivate and guide my personal and professional development, as I am currently finshing school, then joining the Military to be Military Police. I am a visionary in my ambitions, but can be highly self critical. Indeed, I am acutely aware of my own strengths and weaknesses. I know where it is I stand, and what it is I want.

I have been told i have an excellent level of emotional intelligence. I would like to think i have a considerable tolerance of ambiguity and emotional expression and I can be extremely sensitive to other’s feelings and to their body language. Those who know me well would probably describe me as patient, eager to listen to others, and very loyal. I am not afraid of making or admitting mistakes (because i'm always right!... not!) or showing vulnerability to others(i have been called one tough cookie on more than one occasion).

I am a "hopeless romantic" with a touch of realist. I do value the safety, security and comfort of a commited relationship, but for me a relationship must have a strong dose of Romance. In this sense, I desire someone who is on the same wavelength as me –sharing similar attitudes, moods and impulses. Also, I don't like to "chase". If I'm the one who makes most of the effort in a relationship, or even in just the getting to know eachother stage, I take that as a sign of disinterest and will not waist my time. So in a sense, I don't mind making a move or two, but i want someone who is gonna make an effort for me. Someone who will go out of their way for me. I dont mean i want that someone to put their life on hold for me, as i value my own personal space and privacy.

I would like someone who can express affection openly and directly – such as spontaneous compliments, daily "Your beautiful's", occasional notes, or just a simple gesture to say "i'm thinking about you". This does not necessarily mean that I neither like nor need to be touched (Who doesnt!). But I need someone who can show affection in ways other than just physical contact – such as holding hands, public hugs and kisses or light touches in passing, or holding me at night till i fall asleep.

I'm a pretty laid back person, and usually dont get to worked up over little things (i try no to anyway). Mostly I try not to take life and myself to seriously, unless needed. I love to laugh, and I think I have an excellent sense of humor which comes of as sarcastic (been called a smart ass on WAY more than one occasion). I'm what most would like to call a tom boy, but also take care of myself in the girly ways (have been told, and i quote "Meagan, your a guy in a hot chicks body").
