Hey all!


Well this is my second attempt at this; have to say I came across as really boring on my last attempt, so thought I might give this description thing another go!

Interests: Cycling, swimming, going the gym, socialising, car mechanics, bikes, photography, tattoos and rock music.

Ambitions: If I get the opportunity I would love to go backpacking, may do a parachute jump. I am currently in the middle of setting up my own business and I would like to try for my motorcycle license in the next few years. I have a passion for learning new things and knowledge.

About Me: I'm independent, caring, practical guy, always there for my friends. I'm helpful in nature, try my best to be genuine around people, straight to the point at times, and have a sarcastic sense of humour. I'm easy going and give as much as I get, and love friendly banter! I have an eclectic taste in music and movies, but I do get scarred easily! My favourite films are Shawshank Redemption and American beauty. I'm a passionate food-lover and love Chinese and Indian as well as a good steak. I'm a bit of an old fashion romantic; I actually enjoy opening a door for a lady or going for walks on the beach :)

I'm also a human being, with my imperfections, so I'm not looking for someone who is perfect, but someone to share a little time with. 1. My middle Name is Robert
2. I used to have a pet hamster called Hammie, because I couldn't think of a better name.
3. I have 20+ swimming and life guard medals
4. I once won a bike in a colouring competition
5. When I was a kid I used to take things to pieces to find out how they worked
6. Almost everything in my wardrobe is black... Not because I am a goth or depressed, I just feel more comfortable
7. I worked since I left school, but only had 3 jobs
8. I have a fear of the sensation you get when you fall, Although I would love to go into space.
9. When I was kid my parents used to go on holiday to different places every 12 months, sometimes 6. I have managed to visit most of Spain! Been to Florida 3 times and over Europe. Most of which I was too young to remember.
10. I have 4 Tattoos, a band round my right arm, a tribal design, down my left arm and 2 more tribal designs on my back, one of which spans my back :)
11. I have a limp on my left leg which I have had for 10 years.
12. My parents struggled to find a name for my brother before he was born, so asked me. I replied what about "Jason" after seeing a video for "Jason and the Argonauts" on the side. I was taking the piss of course.... However they thought it was a great idea and called him Jason (Sorry man...)
13. I learned car mechanics from my father, I remember watching him taking an engine out of a car when I was little and it really amazed me... I have been interested in cars ever since.
14. I have "Pernicious anaemia" Which is a vitamin deficiency. I require B12 injections every 3 months or I could die :(
15. I fell over running in primary school and now have a scar just above my left eye. Its almost completely faded now though!

18. I just used cycle everywhere and anywhere. I have covered over 10,000 miles on a bike.
19. My top favourite films, but not in any order, Shawshank Redemption American beauty, Terminator 2, Star Wars (all), Serenity and Face/off.
20. Am very good at fixing things, but ask me to create something and am completely rubbish.
21. I once bought a little plant which was 2 inches high for my kitchen window.. After it grew to 12 inches I looked it up on the internet... It wasn't till then I found out it grows to 8 ft! I didn't have the heart to kill it.... so 2 years on its almost 4 ft.
22. I only buy sony ericsson phones.....
23. I have an I.T qualification but I have never actually had an I.T job
24. I have moved house 8 times in 8 years. (I got bored)

Well we could go for a walk or go the pub. Might be nice to do something fun like bowling or ice skating. Get to know each other..
