About Me
I've got a flying machine!!! Or, rather I WISH I had one. Know where I can find one? My old one was stolen by Czar Igorovich the Black so He could go back in time and invade Mars. That's right, my flying machine could traverse time: and my dwarves can fly.
I moved to BC in April of 2006, and I have been wandering about, exploring and getting into all sorts on non-mischief ever since. I am currently living in a place in north Burnaby, just finished my BA in History (along with a certificate in Hellenic Studies) from SFU, and work in New Westminster.
I started off University of Winnipeg, majoring in both History and Religious Studies with some philosophy and classics tossed in for fun. But when I got out her, I discovered that SFU had no Religious Studies program, thus I was consigned to my solitary major of History. The kicker is that they just recently introduced a religious studies program, but it was too late for me to be able to take full advantage of it.
I am a biblioholic. I am addicted to books. When I feel down I will end up buying a book or seven. This means that I always have more books than I could possibly finish.
Were I to describe my religiosity to you, it would be an odd mishmash of Buddhism, Discordianism, and Satanism. Do not worry if this makes no sense to you. It does not always make sense to me either, but I am working it all out slowly.
I also have this thing about wanting to brutally subjugate the planet, then tyrannically oppress the masses in an imperium reminiscent of God Emperor of Dune. But hey, we all have our problems right? Great words: "The status is NOT quo. The world is a mess, and I just... need to rule it." This is underwritten by the fact that I own Planet Earth, I just need enough people to recognize my claim. Get in now before all the choice territories are taken up!
Be warned: I am a zombie enthusiast. I watch the bad zombie movies along with the good. Some make your teeth hurt. Because of this, I am also constantly aware of the potential of a zombie outbreak. I sometimes wonder whether or not the Boy Scouts are lax in their mission to "Be Prepared" out of a lack of a Zombie Defence merit badge.
