I've spent the last ten or so years of my life living by the theory that love will find you when you stop looking. Well hell, that didn't work out. When your paradigm is wrong you should probably not spend that much time waiting for it to fix itself. ? bored yet? I keep reading profiles and, mostly, they are all very vague. They all say they are looking for me. A nice, honest, and stable man. I'm looking for that perfect someone to share my life with. I don't mean perfect in every way, but attraction is important to me. Intelligence and personality are very attractive. I'm not looking for someone that I can live with. I'm looking for someone that I can not live without. I might spend the rest of my life alone, and that's ok, because I'm not going to settle. I'm worth more than that. Aren't you?

I'm looking for someone that I can have fun with and go places. I'm a child at heart and that inner child needs to get out and play way more than I get to let him. Lets face it attraction, fun, laughter are the things that make the heart beat faster.

It's also important to note that I am almost 38 and have not children "of my own"(ask). My mother is still holding on to the hope that i'll come through with a grandchild or two. I feel that this is something to be decided way later in a relationship, but it's something weighing on my decision to start a relationship.

My standards:
Be single (Divorced or so close it's irrelevant) and over your ex's
Be self supporting (for the most part)
Proximity would be nice. I guess I'm kind of lazy because I do not want to drive two hours each way for dates.

Recent photo - Honesty is paramount to me. If your sporting a photo that no longer looks like you tell me up front. My picture looks like me. You do not have to have a photo to talk to me, but I'm going to see one before I meet you.

I'll add more as I encounter them but these are the biggest issues I've seen here.
