About Me
Beware - I’m not just an everyday guy... I like to play my guitar (not so much these days), pool/snooker, watch football, cricket, tennis but also write poetry, short stories, study feminism; respect its ideology... things many men regard foolish or too intellectual to give light of day to.
I like most kinds of music, to travel around the world; particularly America. I also love dining out, certain kinds of movies and get engrossed in the paranormal.
My greatest accomplishments and comforts are being a loving father to my son and daughter, both live in their own homes. Academically I am a Student/Teacher.
I particularly love to meet other cultural-minded people; it's something of an adventure!
My ideal lady would not be self-centred, have her head in the clouds, take life too seriously or have a limit to her sensitivity. She would enjoy celebrating her femininity, have an open mind and be interested in some of my pastimes so we could share each others interests.
I have a Pro. Writing degree and would love to have a friend to share creative writing thoughts.

Recently I decided to give up smoking... I'm determined to roll back a few more years! (But I won't be too hard on myself if I relapse, 'cause I'm not perfect:)

Thoughts of the day:
Only a poet knows that words remain when nothing of value is left.
When things are easier said then done... talk allot!
I figure if I sleep half the day and half the night I'll get some respite from the drag.
It's easier to love what you know, than pretend to love something you believe you should.
