Hi There –
I would love to take some time off with the right person and explore the world, goal is to spend 18 months and sail around the pacific. Start off slow and learn to sail in the bay, then weekend trips to half moon bay and longer trips to Monteray, and eventually Mexico. By the time we can afford to let loose and go for it the skills should be up to par. So far I've raced on friends boats for six years, I've bought a small boat of my own, a Ranger 33’ and have sailed and raced it on the bay. But to be honest I am mostly using my boat as a bay area apartment, a vacation home on the water.

For the financial aspects I've worked as a design engineer, and am now building my own business which should provide me the freedom to take the time off in a few years to explore the world and intrest.

I’m trained as an mechanical engineer, and while working as an engineer I bought several rental properties, with my properties and a few clients I manage to keep busy and engaged, so it is all good.

On the weekend, I tend to rush off to the bay for racing and such. A few races on my boat but mostly letting others write the checks and organize the crew. Recently competed in the Rolex Big Boat series. And managed to get my photo on the Northern California Sailing Schedule. Cheap thrill but take them when you get them.
