I'm originally from the east coast (RI), but now I'm enjoying sunny CA. I moved here a few years ago to work for NASA. I do applied physics research involving lasers and atomic physics. I'm also a grad student at USC, getting my PhD in physics.

My favorite activities include soccer, guitar, art, music, photography and relaxing when I can find the time. I love animals, and the outdoors in general, and enjoy hiking/camping, etc.

I'm looking to meet friends in the area (Pasadena/ Eagle Rock - Los Angeles) with similar interests... whether it's activities like playing tennis, racquetball, or soccer, or if you simply suspect we'd have good potential for an interesting conversation over coffee. I'm fairly open and reasonable, so please just be honest and clear with me, and we're in good shape.

Well, if I'm meeting you for the first time ever, let's not call it a "date." I think two people usually have to meet in person before they know if there is any true potential for chemistry. Getting beyond the semantics... I'm certainly open to any suggestions, but as a default, I'm content meeting over coffee or a drink and maybe walk around. I'm a big fan of taking a stroll... in Old Town Pasadena for example. I feel like the walk-and-talk is well suited for a casual and pleasant exchange.
