I am a very straight-forward Irish person with a quirky sense of humor. While I do know when to be serious, I have learned that life is too short to not enjoy it. Therefore, I will do anything and everything possible to give people a good laugh when the time is right.

I am a very passionate person. I am passionate about life and love. I am passionate about what I see and do. I am passionate about my hopes, dreams, and goals. To use a famous quote, "If you love, love without reservation. If you fight, fight without fear." I am very much a natural romantic.

To a certain extent, I am very much at peace with myself. I am a very independent person, and I do not surrender that independence easily. I know who I am and what I want out of life. I know what I think, what I feel, and what I believe. I know what to look for in the people I choose to associate with, and what to avoid from people I choose not to.

At the same time, however, I am a very open-minded person. I am always open to striving for new goals. I am always open to learning about new perceptions and ideals. I am always open to experiencing new situations and things. That being said, I have a very deep and intimate wild side that we would need to discuss. Read my Interests for a few details. I am a self-educated person. I have a passion and a craving for learning. I've lived in Florida for 8 years now. I know the West side of the State from Chokoloskee all the way North to Hudson like the back of my hand. I would make an excellent tour guide.

I love the beach. That is, without a doubt, my biggest passion. The Gulf Beaches are absolutely beautiful (Pass-A-Grill, Coquina Beach, Fort DeSoto, Clearwater Beach, and Captiva Island beaches are my favorites). It is quite ironic, since my dreams when I was growing up was to move to somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. It just goes to show how people change as they mature.

I love tiki bars and beach activities. I love snorkeling for shells. I have been wanting to go for my SCUBA certification for many years now. I love boating. I enjoy fishing. And I enjoy sunsets over the Gulf (especially at the Sunset Festival at Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach).

I also love traveling. One of my dreams is to purchase a large RV and travel the U.S. covering every state over a 1-2 year period. I also dream of one day traveling to Europe (especially Ireland and Switzerland). I absolutely love the mountains.

WHAT I AM AND AM NOT LOOKING FOR:

I AM looking for someone who has a romantic streak, and can appreciate when someone shows them romance. Someone who knows what they want in life, and can see me fitting in that. Someone who enjoys having fun in life. This would include going to the beach, going on roller coasters, and going to museums, zoos, aquariums, etc.

I offer love, passion, excitement, romance, affection (especially public displays!), fun times, erotic times, companionship, a partner (preferably a life-partner), and someone who will stand by your side through thick and thin and will love you for the rest of your life, if you let him. All you have to do is reach out and grab it, and hold on for all it's worth.

I am NOT LOOKING for someone who is overly negative, who feels they have to criticize every little thing other people do, who ENJOYS CREATING drama, who is judgemental. Someone who simply does not know what they want in their life. If you're not emotionally available, then don't bother contacting me. I'm not looking for someone who plays games, pretending to have an interest and then simply decides to drift away without saying a word.

For the record, I am not looking for a barbie doll. There does need to be SOME physical attraction, but to win my heart, you need to have a winning personality. I've dated former models, exotic dancers, and the like. And here I am still single. What does that tell you? Personality, in the end, is the most important aspect.

Also, the following are deal breakers with me: Anyone who does not like the beach. Anyone who does not like amusement parks. Anyone who does not like dining out. Anyone who uses drugs.

Anyone that does not appear to have a brain. I don't care if you have the body of a Playboy model and a high sex drive. I read profiles carefully. If you use any of the following grammar in your profile, I will lose interest very fast:

Lastly, if you feel it is necessary to be "brutally" honest in your life don't bother contacting me. One does not need to be "brutal" to be honest. It shows a lack of tact and couth, and is just an excuse for poor and childish behavior.

For a first date, we can take a nice drive out to the Sunset Festival at Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach. Afterwords, we could go to dinner at Shepherd's Resort, enjoying the ambiance and the seafood buffet. Later, a walk along the beach looking at the stars...............
