On a first date conversation is a must. The setting must allow for virtious intimacy and honest revalations. The conversation should be none intrusive and humourious with no strings attached. If food and drink is involved hopefully it is in an open air setting with soft music playing.

I would perfer to dine out on a first date, and enjoy a leisurely walk afterwards even to the degree of maybe bare footing it thru soft grass in a most public area say in the late afternoon before dark.
