I used to very much enjoy the forums and having conversations and discussions there, particularly the current events forum. However, the MODERATOR there is way to heavy handed and totally out-of-line in steering discussions, deleting relevant materials and posts, showing great bias to views he agrees with and stifling the views of others with whom he doesn’t agree. So, trying to participate in the discussions is impossible given the Soviet / Nazi style editorial license of the MODERATOR.

Current Events Not Showing On Forum List.

The only problem with the Current Events and the other topics now hidden was the over involvement of the MODERATOR and his very heavy handed censorship. He would modify or truncated substantive sections of posts that were not in any way violating the terms of use set by POF. He would close topical posts that were not repeats of prior posts or attention seeking or any other violation of POF terms but just not to his liking. Thats why posters dropped off of these extremely interesting sections. These topics naturally are heated as people are very set in their various beliefs. The moderator seriously needs to consider therapy and night classes in "Freedom of Speech."

See what I mean? I stand by every single word that I posted as being factual and totally accurate.

I make friends easily and have many but very few that I can talk to openly about anything. I do not like one night stands. (Great fun but it leaves me feeling empty afterwards.) I believe a man should be deeply in love with a woman BEFORE he uses and degrades her. (Hey lighten up, that was a joke) Actually, I'd enjoy a friend over a new lover so please no husband hunters.

I like e-mail friends but can't always write as often as some would like. I enjoy talking on the phone too. I'd enjoy a meet and greet in a public place but not any actual dating.
