Hi there ...

I grew up in a small town in WI (Lake Country Area). Large Catholic Family. I love being able to go spend a weekend at the lake (fish, cook, go boating) and then come right back to the big city. I have lived in the following cities: Minneapolis, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and now Chi-Town. I was born in Milwaukee. I love to travel although I do not get to near as much as I’d like. In my early 20s I studied in London and traveled Europe, on a shoestring I might add.

Like many of you (who have kids) my little girl (6) is my whole world. She absolutely positively comes (without a question of a doubt) first. Although I know I can find time for the right person, my time is very limited with work, starting a small side business and being a single Mom. At the same time, twice a month I have the whole weekend free and love the change of pace that provides. I have a very entrepreneurial spirit that is slowly starting to take shape with what I think are some solid ideas. I do not take life too seriously. I do all I can not to make assumptions and The Four Agreements was one of the best books I have ever read. Just finished The Kite Runner (go get it, it is GREAT!)

I know the value of a dollar and care less and less about “things” as I get older. Don’t get me wrong, “things” are nice and money can help with comfort levels but they are no where close to experiences that touch your heart. I know the difference between a want and a need. I wear my emotions on my sleeve and am very open about any subject you would like to discuss.

I am a dog lover and adore animals... especially puppies! I have both respect and a soft spot for the elderly.

Ideally, I am looking for someone who has kids but it is by no means a deal breaker if you don’t. I think it is important to be friends first. I am new to dating and (like some of you) very (10 years) out of practice. I would like to move slowly in a new relationship.

Lastly, if you shoot me a note and I do not respond, it is nothing more than a lack of time or a lack of initial gut feelings/reaction about possible chemistry. I hope that does not come off the wrong way, I just am not into wasting anyone’s time. Nothing but the best of luck to you while fishing!
