I am a single male, and new to POF, university educated and professionally employed in the humanities. My job is challenging and rewarding but leaves me with little leisure time. I also spend two days a week coaching a competitive youth team during the fall and spring months.

I am slightly introverted and prefer the company of small groups – which sounds peculiar, as I am a teacher. More extroverted in my job than in public, I'll appear quiet and introspective until I know you better – then I’m really sociable... and I'll talk about anything....

I almost need music on all the time to keep me stimulated and I envy artistic people. I am intrigued by history and culture, nostalgia and enjoy discovering new things. I'm up for just about anything... the time spent with someone is more important than the activity - my free time is sometimes at a premium, but I'm up to new things.

I am seeking to forge new friendships by meeting someone interesting, eclectic, different, and nice – in the purest sense of the word. I admire and have a great respect for humanitarians and compassionate people. I tend to attach myself to more grounded, down-to-earth types, but I get along with everyone. I am looking someone to share quality time with.
