Hello ....thank you for taking the time to read my profile. As noted above, I am a 65 year old gentleman that has been widowed for more than 6 years.. I retired just about a year ago and very happy to say I now have the time and am ready, willing, and able to put all the effort that is required to create a loving, nurturing, sincere long term relationship. Although my preferance would be a long term relationship I am open to just dating or companionship. It would be wonderful to meet a lady that is not only a best friend but a lover of life and everything that goes with it.
If you get pleasure walking hand in hand, able to receive and give hugs and kisses the same as me, then were on the way to becoming friends and possibly more. I am a caring, loving affectionate gentleman that respects you for who you are. I'm a believer in the phrase "one man..one woman".
My music tastes tend toward old time Rock and Roll, pop, Rythym and blues. I do love dancing when ever the opportunity is there although I haven't done it for quite awhile so I will require some practise up on the dance floor. I have made the choice to live a healthier lifestyle. I have taken to eating a healthier diet, excercising as much as possible I am a true Pisces for sure. I love anything and everything centered around my element, THE WATER.
Although my preferance is to being around the water I have a very open mind to doing and trying other things. Any new relationship requires each person to adjust to the other partners likes and dislkes and I am of the belief that anything can be accomplished if there is compatibility. Think of the possibilties ahead of us if we set our sights to it. I would like to travel more and what better way to travel than with a partner. I have my own condo on a waterfront setting so I am able to come and go when ever the time comes.
It would be a plus if you enjoyed and wanted to share some of my interests as I would be more than willing to partake in your interests as well. I feel that the first date should take place after email and phone conversations. What better setting than to have a luncheon along the waterfront, sun shining and then go for a leisurly walk. We all no that the first meeting can feel apprehensive but I feel we can put each other at ease IF we relax and enjoy the moment.
