OK, here we go; I make good conversation, mainly because I'm a good listener and I've found that jokingly putting myself down is something that will make strangers warm up right off the bat.(Try it sometime; it works on nearly anyone.) I'd like to meet a woman who really just likes having a good time, be it indoors or out. I enjoy an evening preparing Chinese food, steaks, lasagna, creole dishes,(think gumbo,jambalaya)and then top it off with a fantastic dessert. I like mainly rock music, and I can play guitar just about as good(if not better)than most other armchair musicians out there. I live on a waterfront lot & have a floating dock just down the bank from my house, so if you like to fish & spot wildlife I may be the man you're looking for!

On a first date, a restaurant or coffee shop would be good . A movie on a first date really doesn't lend itself to much conversation, not to mention that it's kinda tough seeing one another in the dark. Time spent strolling around a really beautiful park(the Houston Zoo or Downtown Aquarium also comes to mind) talking and generally getting to know one another would be time well spent.
