I'm a retired firefighter, hoping to find my fair damsel. I am insatiably curious, I read voraciously, and I write a bit. I have a keen, sometimes wicked, often skewed sense of humor. I am convinced God is into practical jokes, and I love to find ways to see normal things through my own peculiar "odd-colored glasses". I live an active lifestyle, enjoying the outdoors (riding my Harley, hiking, canoeing/boating, camping, hunting/fishing, and taking strolls in the moonlight), museums, finding new dining experiences, and tinkering in and around the house. I almost always have half a dozen projects in various stages of completion in my workshop.
I have a wild side, more than a little

but sincerely

as well: work hard, play harder, sleep when necessary! I am a libertarian thinker, with a strong sense of living my own life, NO MATTER WHAT!!! That translates to: Government is a necessary evil; it should be caged: small and limited. Keep your DA*N laws out of my life! I know better than you, Mr. Gummint, what is good for me!
I want to try *everything* that life has to offer, and would love to find a woman who is as

adventurous as I am. I am a passable dancer, and eager to get better. I have varied tastes in music (my library runs from Enya to Johnny Cash, Weird Al Yankovic to John Prine, Abba to Wynona), and spend regular time with my guitar. I earnestly embrace life and try to live it with humor and passion, at all times.
I put "Long Term" as my selection, because that is an ultimate outcome. However, when that happens, it happens. Until then, the options are wide open in regard to getting to know someone and having great times. I am looking for a woman with whom to share all of life--our hopes, dreams, romance, chores, passions, great (and widely varied!) sex

, and the bathtub. She is intelligent, has a great sense of humor, is passionate (about life in general, but also about some 'thing' that really touches her spirit), can dress up or down, has a wild side to share, and is honestly ready to kindle a "love for the ages". Bonus points awarded for motorcycling ("passenging"--my own term for the back-seat activity; extra points for riding her own), dancing, and travel.
The oldest picture (the little guy and me) is of my first grandson and me. The newest pic (the four of us) is the same grandson, standing between Papa and Daddy, and we've added another book to the collection.
A first date should always involve wild, crazy sex, and exploring the wildest range of our imaginations! {See what I mean about needing a sense of humor?) In truth, it should probably start somewhere quiet, over drinks and/or dinner, with lots of time to visit and enjoy each other in a comfortable setting. If things "work," then a liesurely stroll, and plans for a second "real" date, would top off the time together to perfection.
