Hello for now I would like to make friends around my own country here in Canada. I have 5 children and 3 grandchildren with one more on the way. My friend advised me on this site so I thought I would give it a try. Good luck to all on here. I would prefer someone who is already a father and has the experience as I have an 8 year old and I am fine with him but he never had a father I have not met the right person for that. My other 4 children have all grown and I am still with my oldest son and the youngest one too. I have been a step mom before and for the most part I do get along with all children. I have my grandchildren that I love dearly and they are growing up fast. Life is short we should try to enjoy it despite all the problems it can throw our way. Good Luck to everyone on here!! I have changed my profile name to honour my best friend that died on the way to my place, she got hit by a train on July 29/2007 and yes it was horrible. Her husband and I went swimming yesterday and it was horrible, no one talked to us like they used to before except the lady at the desk. What I am saying is dont be afraid to be a friend and say hi. To either him or to me. Take a look at the nature and realize no matter how many problems that you have that there is also beauty in this world. Her last words were "Isnt it beautiful, how pretty the apples are in the grass under the tree." I should say I am very affectionate and not afraid to show it but am also a person that need some alone time and I do think all of us need that from time to time. In other words if the man wants to have a night out with the boys you would have no problem with me there! I am hoping for a friend first that will eventually lead to a long term relationship. Life is short so enjoy it while you can. I found my special someone and I cannot be any happier than I am now. I never thought it would happen but I asked him to be my friend and it turns out he is my true soul mate and I so love him and hope we marry soon!!!! I wish everyone luck on here it can be done!!!

That is a hard one I suppose that would depend on where we are going I have not dated in 10 years so I must really think on that one! I can say from reading other's profile that going out for coffee and mayby catching a movie sounds like a plan to me but like I said it been a long time since a first date and I do hope everyone finds what they are looking for.
