Having lived in Portugal for more than 15yrs where i ran a bar for 13 years and also worked as a holiday rep, I suppose I could say i'm outgoing...although I do have a quiet side to me as well.
After coming back from abroad I worked as a travel agent for 3 years and now work for a bank.
I love meeting people and having a laugh.
I consider myself to be trustworthy, honest and generous (sometimes a bit too generous for my own good). Love cooking and am always experimenting in the kitchen, although I am a bit anal when it comes to washing up. I can't stand seeing dirty dishes in the sink, even a teaspoon in there on its own gets washed straight away lol , but don't let that put you off...i've not got OCD
Travel is a passion of mine, but not tacky euro holidays..been there done that..hate the whole "brits abroad" thing, so I tend to travel further afield these days..usually down to s.e asia for a few weeks every year.
I'm very much a "what you see is what you get" kind of person. I'm not perfect, don't claim to be, and wouldn't want to be; but I like to think i'm a genuine, decent bloke and I can honestly say i've never cheated on anybody, ever...can you?
I don't know who i'm looking for, but hopefully you're out there. I don't really like to set parameters, as I could miss that one person i'm looking for. All I can say is, if you are interested, then get in touch, but I do have a rather crude sense of humour, so if you are a prude and easily offended then please don't bother as I think a similar sense of humour is very important if two people are going to get on well.
This is all starting to get a bit tedious now. All i'm looking for is a straight talker, someone who doesn't take themselves, or life in general, too seriously and who can enjoy a laugh and a giggle. Someone who actually wants too meet for real, sooner rather than later, and not just chat online. Seems to me there are simply too many people on here who are just after the attention of as many members of the opposite sex as is possible, just to boost their own deflated egos.
One thing i've noticed on here...what's with all the cleavage/boob pics?...don't get me wrong, I love them as much as the next man (so much so i'm even growing my own lol) but is it really necessary to put photos like that on here?..seems a little cheap and tacky if you ask me....although if it's attention you are after, i'm sure there are plenty of fellas on here who will think you're a cheap tart and up for it.
Moral of this rant?...I think you get the message
I've been criticised and praised in equal measure due to the honesty and bluntness of my profile. The reason it's how it is is because i'm actually seriously looking to meet someone on here, so i'm not going to sugar-coat my profile or compromise my integrity by pretending to be someone or something i'm not. If we meet, you're gonna see the real me...so why bother pretending?
