UPDATE: I recently entered an exclusive arrangement but I'm still enjoying the forums. I'm still happy to converse with just about anyone as long as you aren't an a**hole, but I don't do the IM thing, and don't wanna swap sexual fantasies or look at pics of your precious possessions, bare chest, tongue, penis, etc.
I got into POF cuz I wanted to make some gentleman friends with whom I could engage in activities/interests we share in common, maybe eventually limit it to just one guy but I wasn't too sure about ever doing the committed LTR thing again. I definitely don't want to be married again. Trust me -- I've done it enough times to know it ain't my strong suit.
I have 3 daughters; 1 no longer living at home, 1 in college and 1 in high school so I'm in the home stretch. As the empty nest looms on my horizon and I have less "demands" on my time I've found myself sort of at loose ends, not quite remembering what I used to do to fill my time or not inclined to return to some of my wild and wooly ways.
I'm "a little on the trashy side." It comes from my southside-raising and I'm d***ed proud of it. I'm tattooed, can be crude and lewd, and Lord help you if I'm in a bad mood. If you don't like it, pass me by. No harm, no foul. But if you try to put me in my place you may find your square a** uncomfortably stuffed into a round hole. I've tried to become more assertive v. aggressive. I've had some success... but we're all works in progress. I believe the words/phrases most frequently used by family/friends to describe me are: brutally honest, cool, crazy (but in a good way... LOL!), funny, gregarious and loyal.
