What im looking for is simple. To meet someone who may have interest in some of the things that i like to do. For friendship, dating, long term relationship, exersize partner or sharing same intrests. If it leads to more than friends thats great. If you just want to be friends/share intrests thats ok to. It's all about discovering if we are compatable. Sometimes the best way to find your mate is to look for your next best friend.
A little about me. I live in the country. Im the outdoors type. A few parks are close that i hike and fish. I would like to venture out to explore more. I enjoy camping in a vintage trailer, road trips to near by towns. Taking pictures. Took some of ghosts. Star gazing or using large telescope at night. I have some intrests in living green and self reliant living. Anything retro. Playing pool and darts in my finished off barn. cooking on the grill and inviting friends over. Working in the garage. Going to sales, swapmeets. Car cruises and shows but haven't atended one in years. Going out to eat is ok but dont care for fancy restraunts. I listen to a variety of music. the 80's, rock/country, blues and naitive flute by R carlo nakai. I watch sci fi shows stargate atlantis/doctor who. staying in and watching movies is ok. Always open to new ideas. I would like to do simple things at first the economy is bad and living in the country gets expensive.
I'm easy going and open to my thoughts you never have to guess. I believe in karma and treating everyone with respect. Im not good at pick up lines. I can't dance unless i get some personal lessons. Not into sports, i dont swim. I dont drink/smoke. I get along with kids well. I dont have any. Never dated anyone with kids so it would be a new experiance.
Im unique in my own way and not out to impress anyone. I have not tried to keep up a image. I have a way with words that some find humerous. To some its way of socializing ( brits do it alot). I dont like to prejudge people but can call it as i see it. I have been called a dreamer and try to do to much and get side tracked . I have a sense of humor but may not get the joke. I have a careing side that slows me down. I know what i want out of life it just doesnt always go as planned. Now i take it one day at a time. If your looking for wealth you wont find it here. Bottom feeders like companionship too. If your a fan of royalty im related to a few and the famous poet. I have a very famous/distinctive english last name. I have found that some find it a turn on but my opinion is a name is just a name, it's the man behined it that matters.

As for dislikes people that are shallow, argumentative, bad attitudes, liers, drug users, drunks, that steal, are lazy and some right wingers. Living like a clutterd red neck with dogs is ok. If a couch is setting ouside i'm thinking no.
Bad things about myself. I share a house with my mother. Dont get the wrong idea. I got rid of my home and It works best for both us. bills are cheaper but not much privacy.
The drama- My health, some years ago i was injured and get headaches and dizzy. Recovery has been long. It has got in the way of employment and life. That is the reason friend is listed rather than long term or dating. I could lose some weight but not alot. I have a large build and use to be very active.
Sadly I have been single most of my life by choice. Why? A relationship that ended badly. not wanting to experiance it again I stayed single until I found the answers. Now it's time to start over. Our destiny and wisdom is at the price of experiance. Out of the dating scene for so long wasnt easy and i didnt think life would fly by so fast.. starting again is kind of scary, a regret maby a lost cause. I'm not sure what is in or expected. I feel stuck in a time that has gone by or in the middle. I see some looking to party and im out of that phase. Others have kids grown up. I put that part of my life on hold and feel that time may have passed. Some have a great job looking for the same in a mate. I was there once and learned. Dollars may buy happiness but love that lasts is free.

Im not perfect and i dont expect to find perfection. I also understand you cant expect to know someone on a first meet. I dont have a set look im atracted to. I would like to find someone that is faithfull, trustworthy, open to talk about any topic. Someone that will express feelings and not keep them bottled up. Must have a good heart, a romantic side. That will put time and effort into a relationship. That wont give up when the unexpected goes wrong or over a disagreement. The one were the spark will never go away, where every day is just as good as the first. I don't look down on people due to dissability, financial situation, race, education or personal beliefs and so forth. As one person mentioned we all have a story to tell and baggage we carry with it. To listen is to know, to understand is to except. We all feel the need to explain who we are and why we are here. What is yours?

I would like to meet someone to share intrests with just as a friend or more, your choice. Like - camping with my dog in a vintage trailer. I have extra bed/tent for friend or kids. Hiking nature trails, exploring parks, fishing, astronomy. just look at my intrests.
