About Me
Hi!
Thanks for checking out my profile. I am a pretty relaxed, happy and honest guy who lives and enjoys life as it comes. My friends often say that I am easily amused and tend to find the good side to every situation. I am currently writing up a PhD, which is quite daunting and a lot of fun at the same time. After a long day playing with mud and telling people how cool it is to play with mud all day (greatest job ever!), I love to cook new things, meet up with friends, spend time in nature, doodle about on the guitar, or listen to music with a good book. My taste in music is somewhat eclectic, ranging from classical to rock via blues, jazz, reggae and funk. I am also a passionate photographer, mainly street portraits and cityscapes, which I have been doing since I was about 15.
I am looking for someone sensitive and intelligent; someone spontaneous, positive, who likes spending time in nature or at a good gig just as much as staying in with a nice bottle of red to discuss anything from art to philosophy. Not asking too much then ;)

 | Spent a brilliant evening with Gunnar - seriously laughed until my cheeks hurt! A true gentle gentleman, even bought the wine and held the door open for me! Although he has some "choice" tastes in music, I wouldn't hold that against him ha ha! A wicked sense of humour, a great listener and even has the ability to concentrate solely on you! He's one of those guys thats been there and done that, but is still completely interested in others opinions and experiences. If he survives the PhD without succumbing to the weirdnesses that staring down a microscope for 3 years will do to a man, I'd definitely say he's worth a shot! We had a fab time, and are still in touch as friends but the spark just wasn't there for us. |
