People fascinate me. I care about their thoughts, their emotions, their stories, and their gestures. The most enduring beauty and poetry come from human interaction. Look no further.

Meanwhile, solitude is my friend. Those of us who value solitude live with it, experience its unpredictable effects, and come through it with interests and characteristics that we will all later be proud of. We grow into people content with ourselves.

I value open-mindedness. It suggests growth, imagination, and understanding. Open minds bring endless possibilities in the exchange of ideas and the commerce of happiness. As long as imagination persists, hope will never perish.

What about dreams? Like many cinephiles, I dream about having my movie shown at Quinzaine des Réalisateurs one day.
