Hi,

I just moved here to Austin a few months ago and I feel I am settled in enough to start exploring. I have been single for a long time now and would like to try my hand at dating again to see if I can find something with long term potential. I'm not looking to jump right into bed or rush into anything, just hopefully meet someone nice who would appreciate having a strong loving man in their life.

Some things you may not like about me:

1. I'm short, standing at 5'6" in bare feet.
2. I'm working off a few extra pounds and weigh about 180Lbs. However I know from experience that it will only take me a couple of months to get back into shape now that I'm working out again.
3. I don't have a lot of money but I make enough to pay all my own bills and go out when I feel like it.
4. I have a roommate for now, he's my best friend and it just made sense to do it this way while we got settled in.
5. I currently work weird hours. 12Am - 8:30AM Thurs - Mon.

Some things you may like about me:

1. I'm not afraid of hard work of any kind and I don't shy away from difficulties.
2. I'm relaxed and laid back, I don't believe in making things harder than they need to be or pressuring people. I try to take things as they come.
3. I'm a good listener and the guy my friends and family come to for advice or an ear to bend. People seem to value my opinion.
4. I'm very affectionate with the right person. I love to kiss and hold hands and I'm not afraid to show how I feel.
5. I'm dependable and faithful. I will be there when you need me and I have never cheated on anyone.

I am looking for someone with similar traits who knows who she is and what she wants from her man. Please respond with a picture of yourself and I will be happy to supply a recent picture of myself so that we can both put a face to who we're "speaking" with.

I think meeting for coffee/a drink is good for the first date. Or maybe playing pool. Or Dinner and then a walk. Or all of the above. I can have fun anywhere; it's a talent lol. Anything that allows for good conversation and getting to know each other. Like I said, I'm new here so I am open to suggestions.
