About Me
About me? I am a lady and enjoy being treated as such. I enjoy a man who would open the car door, pull out my chair, help me with my coat, and respect me enough to forgo the lewd comments I often hear from men out on the web these days.
I am a sweet person and maybe at times too sweet. But my task in life is to find that balance between nice and too nice. I would do all in my power to help bring happiness to another soul, the trick is not to sacrifice my own needs and happiness in the process.
Having been divorced for 6 years now, I raise my 3 children virtually on my own. Their dad does take them for 1 day each week giving me my Friday nights to myself and I cherish those evenings, so if I happen to be out with you on a Friday night you can consider that a compliment.
I am a systems analyst for BCBS working full time there. I also take full time classes at Washburn university where I will procure a degree in Mathematics in 3 semesters. I do want to also work toward my masters degree but all in due time. I love my children, my job and my studies.
As for fun, when I am able to play I enjoy the outdoors but not the insects. I enjoy dining, dancing, singing Karaoke, and even wouldn't mind bowling. I like to stay active, it's my way of defying my bodies uprising against me. All who inquire should know that I have Multiple Sclerosis, it's not a death sentence, and thus far I haven't been disabled by it. I workout at my company gym 3-5 days a week. I am currently doing the pilates machines instead of weights but am getting ready to switch back over because I miss the burn. Before muscle strengthening exercises I hit the elliptical machine for a little cardio. I love the feeling I get after a good workout. I love that my work makes doing so a convenience.
I am a loyal girl, and am looking for a man that is kind, charismatic, honest, and one who can agree to disagree since no two people will ever agree on everything. If you want someone who believes religiously the way you do, then your church would be a good place to find her, I have slightly different beliefs than most, but one thing all Christians can agree on is God and his son our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I have a degree in Theology and love God and his Word and his Son is my hero. I have learned in the past 6 years to agree to disagree on heated topics. If it isn't a matter of life or death I have learned to accept other people's points of view as long as they respect mine.

If I venture on a first date with you it will be somewhere that we can talk and get to know each other. I have this great little coffee shop that I like to visit. they serve a fantastic Chai Icer and have an eclectic atmosphere that brings you to a different place in your mind and heart. I love to make connections there.

 | 6/28/2004: The last sentence in an e-mail I got from a woman named Holly read, "Anyway I think I will enjoy talking with ya." Hard to believe I've only known you since then. It seems a lot longer (and I mean that in a totally good way!) Seems like we've both been through some tough times the last few years and a lot of people have passed through our lives. But as far as a true friend and confidante, you have been the lone constant in my life. I have so much to thank you for and words alone will never repay my gratitude.
