About Me
I'm a simple and quiet person...an INFJ for those into Myers and Briggs typing. I enjoy nature trips, birdwatching, biking & hiking with friends, historical walks, open-air events, improv theater, indi films, used-books shops, poetry readings, garage sales, and art festivals. I write poetry on occasion. I keep myself happy with my point-and-shoot photography and in tending to my online collection of poems and photographs.
I was on more than one occasion described by others to be your typical girl scout, organized, dependable, serious, a square (yes, squares have likable qualities, too, unbeknownst to most people), thoughtful, and independent-minded.
For music, I gravitate to roots, indi folk, fiddle music, baroque, cool jazz, light & easy, and the nostalgic--Girlyman, Jack Johnson, Libera, Joni Mitchell, Indigo Girls, John Denver, Pete Seeger, Kate Rusby, James Taylor... and also enjoy Irish and Scottish tunes for some odd reason.
Current reads: "Finding The Taproot of Simplicity" by Frances Taber and "Soul Mates: Honoring the Mysteries of Love and Relationship". I enjoy a good movie once in a while. My favorites include "Amelie" by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, "Once" by John Carney, and most films by Hayao Miyazaki.
I'm looking to meet like-minded friends...and perhaps along the way, my lifelong best friend. A physical and spiritual connection is important to me. I hope to find someone with whom I can share a wonder, curiosity, and compassion for the world. He is sensitive and sensual, romantic and caring, open and honest. Someone attune with himself both physically and emotionally as well as he is with me. He keeps to an active and healthy lifestyle (so definitely a nonsmoker). Most importantly, he has a great sense of humor and can make me laugh at life and at myself.

She is undoubtedly creative, unanimously brilliant, utterly complacent… ultimately magnificent. She's tiny but has such a big heart! She'll make fun of you for getting lost so easy but you can talk her onto the wrong metro :-). You might both be lost, but your eyes won't be.
