I couldn't figure out what to write here so I had a friend write something up about me. Here's what she wrote.
"I choose to live life to the fullest and to take part in all of the festivities is has to offer. It's all about being with friends and connecting with them - whether we're mountain biking, windsurfing, snowboarding or just sharing a few beers. I like lots of cheese, bacon and butter. I'm passionate about my friends and the sports that we do together. People think I'm funny - but I don't really try - I just like to laugh. My friends tell me I make them laugh and smile.
I am loyal and steady - no surprises with me. Hmm...that kind of sounds like a yellow lab or something...which is not really me. I'm more of a feisty mutt.
Geez, this is hard. You don't want to sound arrogant yet there's nothing but goodness to say about you! Like I'd want to put in how smart you are but that would sound weird. You are compassionate - but that sounds mushy....hmm. You are rippin' good at all the sports you do but you can't really say that - but that IS an attractive thing to a mate, of course. Hmm.
I have to sign off for now...this is stressing me out!"
Having a friend write this isn't to say that I'm not confident in myself (actually I've got too much confidence, I'm a Scorpio), I'm just humble and not a "sales" type person.
I'll add something to it myself soon.

First Date
Well I probably wouldn't be going on a first date without getting to know the person via e-mail or phone first, so more than likely, we'd go sporting for a bit, then get something to eat and have a chance to get to know each other.
