Hi! I would like to introduce myself. I live in Des Moines, but grew up in the Carroll area. I enjoy cooking, and making desserts is one of my specialties.
I am honest about where I am in life. I am 28 yrs old and have an nine year old son. Never married, but looking to find that special someone. I like to take things slowly in a relationsip, been down that dirt trail one too many times. I am a Christian and love going to church. I am very active and involved in some of the ministries, namely the nursery, small group Bible study, and large group Bible study.
I grew up on a farm out in the country, and we had our share of cats, dogs, ducks, cows, and mosquitos. I enjoy living in the city, but sometimes miss the quiet out in the country. I have gone horseback riding, but it's been a while.
I enjoy going out but I also like to chill at home. I like to read books and magazines, go on nature walks, and try new things with my son, Kevin. It is important to me to make the most out of every day, because life is an adventure waiting to happen. I have traveled a little in the midwest, but want to see more. I eventually would like to go back to school and go into the publishing and editing field. I would like to meet someone who is honest and down-to-earth, and is NOT a partier or a drunkard... lol
I can be a little shy, until you get to know me. I have a hidden wild side, but it's only for my man and nothing or no one else.
For a first date, I would probably keep my options open. I would be up for just about anything, up to and including dinner. I enjoy bowling, going to events in and around Des Moines, and being outside is always a plus. It would be fun to try out something new. I am considering just being part of the forums, as I am growing bored with no responses.
