This is going to be a difficult thing to do,how can i fill in this little box with what would define who i am and what i'm about!!!.
So please make yourself comfortable with a nice hot drink as you might be reading this for a while.
The reason that my user name is "_PHOENIX_" is because it is named after a legendary bird which was said to 'set fire to itself and re-emerge from it's own ashes' and the latter part is something that i'm hoping to emulate from being on this dating site(Fingers crossed).
Because all anybody wants in life is to be with someone who cares for them and to share each others live's with and to have those close moments of sweet/tender touch's,kisses,hug's and caress's that reveal a deeply caring bond.I don't mean that in an overtly sexual way either as i am naturally a very tactile person and touch itself is a very strong communicational bond,when done right there is no need for words!!.
I am the kind of person who thinks that a mobile/camera picture does not really encompass what i look like (we are not all attention seeking,papparazzi,glamour puss's),as i do believe that i look a LOT better in the flesh and that isn't my ego speaking either,as i am a humble man who is just a bit shy.But others do class me as Tall,dark haired and handsome!!(this makes me blush),i also get my share of attraction body language off the ladies(like the hair flick's,the preening of clothes or those knowing looks),i'm just too shy to act on any of them.
I do believe that there is a massive difference between LUST and LOVE and not all of us men want the typical "girl with loose morals", why can't both genders date without there being an end objective of sex on a first date???(what ever happened to just having fun and laughs???).

I want a lady who "ATTRACTS" me with her mind,body & soul and "NOT" with what she is willing to freely/openly put on display for others to see.

I've specified Talk/E-mail because i would like to send a few messages first,so that we can get that vital rapport going and then possibly make plans for a meet/date at a later time,because i'm not like the type of guy on here,who would meet after one little message looking for sex!!!,i would like to make sure that you are genuine and that can only be gauged through correspondence!!!.
And i don't like the term BABE used when talking to a nice lady,because for me it seems derogatory as all the kid's/chav's have lessened it's value in todays world,a real heart felt meaningful action would be to hold the lady tight and look into her eye's and tell her she's the most attractive lady in your world (Sincerity goes a long way in my book).

I'm not a smoker (never felt compelled to even try it) and i would prefer to meet someone who has either stopped or does not smoke,it's not nice kissing or being around a human ashtray.I do drink socially, but i have never needed to get drunk to enjoy myself and i do feel sorry for those who see it as a necessity in todays enviroment as it can ruin a great night out and also does you no good for your long term health,i prefer to do,see & try new things.
I have no children simply because i have not found the right lady with which to have some with,even though i would make a great dad if i do say so myself.
I also think that it is better to have children when you are both in a position to look after them,both physically and financially,so they are brought up with the love and care that they truly deserve (Many are sadly brought up by bad parents).And if the lady had some of her own,it wouldn't detract anything from our relationship because we all had a life before P.O.F and to call them "baggage" on here is bad,they should be who we love and care for the most on this earth.

I'm a well dressed man who smells great when out and about,i like to wear trendy clothes like jeans,Trousers,roll sleeve tops,waist coats,shirts,etc.

I was raised with manners and morals and some of my traits are:
intelligent,honest,caring,loving,loyal,reliabile,humourous,respectful and much more (This is starting to sound like a c.v.).
I love animals and wildlife,especially when i'm out roaming and rambling in the local woodland and fields (I've taken in and kept a stray,emaciated cat,who is now very happy and always fed,YEP i'm a big softie).
I'm really not a big follower of football either(I might have to repeat that again as the shock might not of let it sink in).This was due to me being forced to play and love it during my early years, i would go and see a game but just for the atmosphere and for a good day out!!.
I can be playful at times too, but can't we all ,i the squeals a lady makes when i tease and tickle her,i think it's funny too,when we both play each other up,but only with the most friendly/loving of intentions.
Sadly i can not drive and would have to rely on public transport for any possible future meets/dates!!!.
I haven't got any tattoo's,but i wouldn't rule out having one or two if i could find some that appealed to me and i also think that certain tasteful ones on a lady can bevery sexy,grrrrrrrr .

I am a keen cyclist (i love the freedom of going where you want and it's exercise too).

I'm also a very open minded kind of guy!!!.

I am a good catch and would never be thrown back into the sea.

Anything that i could do to put the lady at ease or fulfill her first date desires!!!.
But i can suggest a number of activities like a:
A trendy bijou Cafe/Bistro, a friendly and inviting Pub, Sea life centre, any Zoo, Bowling, an Art gallery, a Museum, a great Restaurant, Music/gig, An exhibition of any sort, Cinema, a theatre show, comedy club, a ramble, dog/horse track,Ice skating, etc.

(As Eddie Izzard says about recycling = "The possibilites are endless").

We can then do other things,when we feel comfortable in each others company (Day trips to various places of interest,etc!!).

I'm looking for someone who wants to be my equal,who will be respected and cared for like a lady should be,instead of the way most ladies are treated by men!!!,Grrrrr.She will be loved and nurtured to become who she wants to be and we will discover and explore what Walsall,Birmingham and beyond has to offer two intrepid explorers.She will hopefully become my close friend/confidant,the other half of my comedy duo,my partner in crime, my fellow explorer and intense lover.
A gentle touch will mean the earth and having those knowing looks in which we don't have to say a thing.
I'm not being big headed,but i am someone who is SPECIAL and DIFFERENT from the masses and i WANT someone to be this with me too.

I must admit that i am attracted to ladies who dress professionally and/or stylish (which lets them be their true self without diminishing the look of gracefulness).
"The clothes make'th the man",i believe this can be said about a woman too!!!.
A caring nature is always good too,but she can have her off days and i'd still like her for who she is.
