Before I tell you anything about me you must know that I am not a big fan of facial hair, especially mustaches and full beards of any kind. Though a nicely trimmed goatee is attractive on some men, I prefer a clean-shaven kissable face. :) I have sensitive skin. However, I am not shallow enough to know that someone special can be hiding behind the hair. I am Italian, a native New Yorker (from the Bronx)and moved to Florida in 1989. I love South Florida and anywhere I can be near the ocean. Its one of my favorite places. I am passionate about almost everything. I believe it's best to have a positive outlook because there is a reason for everything. This comes from my strong Faith in Christ. I live for SMILES and laughter. I love having fun and sometimes being just plain old silly. I believe that the essence of a good relationship (any) is LOVE, mutual respect, trust, communication and a great sense of humor. I work for a non profit organization that gives back to the community and I support all animal rights organizations in my personal time.
Photography has been one of my hobbies but haven't had much time for it in a while. I like to read, go to amusement parks, flea markets, bowling, boating,(love cruises!) dining by the water, shopping for great finds and unusual things....or painting or sewing, salt water aquariums (I had one), plants, beaches, reading novels, poetry and music. I love music. Who doesn't. I enjoy Blues, Rock and Roll, Soft Rock, Easy Listening, and yes, I love HIP HOP.
My favorite movies are To Kill a Mockingbird; Scent of a Woman, Falling in Love, Babe (yes the pig); Charlottes Web, Finding Nemo, I love cartoons); Forest Gump, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Pretty Woman, Imitation of Life (with Lana Turner - 1959) and recently, The Departed....and the list goes on. I enjoy dramas like CSI, (love Forensics.
Favorite book - To Kill a Mockingbird is my favorite of all time. People I admire/respect: Oprah Winfrey; Tyra Banks; Suzanne Sommers, Sophia Loren; Martin Luther King; Monteil Williams. Hugs and Love, thanks for reading my profile.....
I will meet you anywhere we can chat in public if you don't want an official "date". Otherwise, I wouldn't mind a drink somewhere (Ice tea or a bar drink) - I don't drink coffee except occasionally in the morning). Depending on our connection here I might consider lunch, dinner, or just dessert at a place we can talk to get to know each other. :) When there is a connection it doesn't matter where or what is going on around you. Things I'd love to do with someone special are bowling, billards, water activities amusement parks, theatre, etc. The more time we might spend together doing different things, the better the chance of really getting to know one another.
