I'm a romantic, happy, secure woman with a great sense of humor. My friends and family tell me that I don't look or act my age. I'm getting older, but that doesn't mean I have to grow up. No, I'm not skinny, but I have started to work out at the gym a few times a week. Need someone to give me encouragement. I have a good job, my own house and a nice car. What I don't have is someone to share my life with. I have two grown sons and family is important to me. One of my sons is living with me temporarily. I lost my husband to cancer several years ago and agree that it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. Taking a chance on love is a risk. Not taking the chance is a shame.
I like going to the gym, spending time at the beach, going to concerts, slow dancing, watching live sports and listing to music. I'm a country music fan. Not into jazz, rap or opera. Believe it or not I like to watch NFL football. I'm a Redskins fan, but don't hold that aginst me. I know my way around a tool box and can even change an electrical outlet (if the breaker is turned off) but still a very much a girly girl. Still working full time and plan to keep working for sevral more years. Enjoy traveling to new places and cruises.
What I'm looking for in a man? Someone who I can laugh with, talk to and trust. Someone who will not try to change me into who they would like me to become, but will accept me with my faults, as I would accept them with their faults. Someone who does not take life too seriously, but is responsible and fun.

First meeting would be a coffee, iced tea, ice cream.
My ideal first date would be dinner at a fun casual restaurant, nothing fancy. We would have good conversation, maybe a drink and laugh a lot, mostly at ourselves (or just me). A walk on the beach in the moonlight would make a great ending. (Remember, this is a FIRST date) LOL
