I like old levi's and new underwear (boxers); women in hats and whispered words. I like the look in a woman's eyes just before the laughter escapes her lips. I like looks that say much and touches that express more. I like everything that Willie Nelson has ever done, and Tchaikovsky's lone violin concerto. I like finding the simple in the complex and vice versa. I like finding more things that I like.

1st Addendum:
1. I live in a loft downtown. I collect contemporary art. Since I think you can tell a lot about someone by their living space, I've included some pictures of my loft and some of the art I've collected.
2. I backpacked Europe as a long-haired hippie back in the 70's and haven't quite shaken all those habits or ways of thinking.
3. I do not care as much about one's formal education as I do their ability to think critically.
4. I don't think it's what you do that's important, but who you do it with.

2nd Addendum, or more Misc. thoughts after I've received some responses:

1. While I don't think you should necessarily be wearing your daughter's clothes, I do think you shouldn't have stopped evolving. I'm looking for a woman that keeps abreast of the changing world - politically, culturally, and, yes, fashion-wise - and is willing to incorporates new ideas into her lifestyle. That doesn't mean that she should change according to the latest fashion.(A wise observer once noted that fashion is for those who don't have style). But what I mean is that we should all be willing to continually edit ourselves so as to refine who, and what we are. I don't think you grow old because your age increases each year, you grow old because you stopped growing.

I am a bit of an audiophile, which simply means I have spent waaay too much money on stereo equipment. I am also a hot air balloon pilot and fly when every I can get to Albuquerque.

I'd just like to add...
You don't have to be within 50 miles, or even 500 miles. If you find something of interest in these words, say hi. Let's talk. Stay open to new things even though they may originate from a distance.
