I have taught in the public schools since I graduated from college. I love teaching, but also look forward to retiring when my son graduates from High School. He is currently 9 years old so I have a ways to go.

I've lived in South Fort Myers for 13 years and continue to enjoy the community, environment, weather, and friends I have made here.
I don't have hobbies like collecting stamps, building model airplanes, or knitting, but, I do like to paint, read historical fiction and novels, go shelling, hiking or walking nature trails, swimming, and biking.
I traveled a great deal before my son was born. I toured the Amazon, Thailand, Kenya, Borneo, and China to name a few of the places. I also lived in Germany, Iceland, S. Korea, and Japan over a 9 year period. I taught American children who had at least one parent in the military overseas. I hope to do some traveling and maybe missionary/volunteer work overseas during the summers in the next couple of years.

I use Facebook and Classmates to keep in touch with friends from my hometown in Ohio, relatives/friends in Michigan, and friends I met overseas. This might be considered a hobby.

I like all kinds of music, but I especially like Motown, classic rock, and oldies from the 60's-80's. There are several female and male vocalists I like also.

I have 2 sisters, 1 stepsister, 1 brother (all in Michigan or Ohio).

Doing something like coffee and conversation at a local bookstore or coffee shop. Maybe a quiet dinner. Maybe something outdoors, or going out to the beach, or any where we can talk and get to know one another.
