Ok, here are some random thoughts to give you some insight on me and why I'm here:

I'm seeking a fantastic woman, intelligent, hilarious, sexy, motivated, independent, the best of all worlds. I'm sometimes classy, sometimes trashy, always interesting. I like the symphony, I like cookouts. I like grammar. : ) I have found I have nothing to say to 22 year olds. Music means a whole lot to me; I listen to it constantly. I rarely watch tv now, though in my past I've been a tv junkie. I just moved back to central Ohio after an eight year absence. I grew up here, went to OU, moved to New York and then Arizona for my job, and came back here primarily to get reacquainted with my family.

I'm a federal cop (more on that if you care to ask), but I'm the anti-cop in personality and politics. I'm super liberal on most issues, and I really enjoy talking about politics of the day and social issues. It gets me in trouble with all my ultra conservative coworkers fairly often. : ) I don't mind people disagreeing with me; I think others' views expand my own.

A long term relationship is what I'm after; nothing is better than that level of intimacy and understanding. I remember when messin' around and dating lots o' girls was fun. It was called "college," and it was 10 years ago. : ) A relationship where trust is not a question; the only questions are how hard we're going to laugh today, and whether we're going to hang out with our friends or, often better yet, spend time with each other tonight. No drama, just enjoyment.

I swear all the time. I like the theater. I believe in the separation of church and state. I like to take care of the yard (a hobby I didn't need to have in Arizona), hang out with my family and friends, go to all the neat stuff downtown that wasn't here when I grew up, have a beer, throw the ball to my dog, make fun of people in public places, run in the park, hike, snowmobile, swim in the pool, play poker and euchre, read good books, hear new music, and try new things.

I also really like woodworking. I've made a lot of the furniture in my house. I like to set the Ipod to "unnecessarily loud" and spend time out in the barn with Bandit, my Australian Shepherd, and the tools. I get a lot of satisfaction out of that.

I love live music of all sorts, and I'm always interested in hearing what other people like, especially when it's something I haven't heard yet.

I do spend a lot of time with my family. I have a terrific niece and nephew; it's their growing up that brought me back here. I get in some good mom & dad time with my folks, too. No kids of my own.

Please write me if you're interesting. Please don't if you're not. : ) I like opinionated, strong women. Beautiful, intelligent, active women who love their families and friends. Be confident in yourself, sometimes obnoxious, sometimes sweet, sometimes sure of yourself, sometimes not. Romantic, emotional but stable, unique. Sarcastic.

Let's do something where we can chat it up. The primary goal is to talk and get to know each other, so a movie is out. We could go to an art show, or dinner or drink, or a park, or some festival downtown, or picnic with the pops, or a baseball game.
