I have given this considerable thought: The POF profile should contain a box that is required to complete, and that box is one in which you must describes what it is that you have to offer to another in any kind of relationships. So much of what appears seems to reflect an egoistic perspective, but I think this is what appear in so many internet dating sites. This definitely sends an unfavorable message, and should be changed. As a person who wishes to see what others can offer, it becomes frustrating to see only what others want; this forces a member, if this member even care to, into a role of service or subservience that is not a good beginning point.

Active, happy and accomplished. Former professional athlete (in Spain) turned first-rate chef by necessity, but no longer, for I sold my restaurants in favor of investing in them instead. My background is Spanish and French, and I speak both languages, so I quite naturally look at life, unapologetically, more as a European than as an American. I belief in live and let live, and try to achieve happiness more than to be top of the hill, or to have the most money. Maybe I make a mistake to move to NYC recently? Oh well my sister and a brother live here, so at least there is family.

Doesn't it astonish you that if you graduated high school only it shows "NA" on a profile! Funny how you can assess a person by the assumptions that person make aout others. Also, what if you have a burro instead of a car? Who needs a car in NYC!!!

A first date merely needs to be simple. I'll make the food and we'll go for a picnic. If it's cold, I'll need to think on that one! Here's another thing that I think would be fun: let's go to a parfumerie and try the aromas...with a pitcher of home-made sangria.
